ABOUT Sam Smead
Since 1990, Sam has been photographing people places and things in and around the East Texas area. Sam uses his architecture degree to create lasting images with a unique eye. Not only does he photograph families, children, and seniors, but he also does commercial photography, aeriel, professional images, architectural images, weddings, maternity sessions, and various projects that are presented to him. Because of Sam and Jill's dedication to hard work and quality, Sam Smead Photocreative has received numerous awards and has just expanded to a secondary location in Tyler.
Education:
Sam graduated from UT Arlington in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture

Sam is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Texas Professional Photographers Association. He has received many awards including

JILL SMEAD
Jill Smead works alongside her husband Sam and is integral in keeping the studio in order. She is the Studio Manager.
LISA FERGUSON
Lisa Ferguson has been with Sam Smead Photocreative for 15 years. She is the art director and production manager, master retoucher, and a second shooter.
